MLB (Major League Baseball)
The Miami Marlins are Miami's professional MLB team, and have been in play since 1993 (although they were the 'Florida Marlins' back then). Their home stadium, Marlins Park, is located west of Downtown Miami. It has a seating capacity of 37,442. July 2017 will see it host the MLB All-Star game for that year. The All-Star game is a game held between players (chosen by fans, managers and players, depending on the chosen players' position) from the National and American Leagues, and is held every year. Each year, the game brings some economic prosperity and an electric mood to the city it's held in, with many people going to the city to view the game. So, if you're going to go to Miami, this will be one of the best times to do it.
